Shark Attack 3 Plot Summary

Divers working on a cable in the ocean are attacked by a shark, leaving one of them dead. Months afterwards, a lifeguard in California named Ben (played by John Barrowman) pulls up a power cable with a shark tooth attached to it. He posts a picture of the tooth online and is contacted by a researcher named Cat Stone (played by Jenny McShane) who tells him it is from an ancient megalodon.

Ben and his friend Chuck want to take a look at the cable, and then find out the shark has killed two people on a waterslide. Cat Stone goes out on a boat to find the shark, hooks a camera to the shark’s fin, but their boat is smashed up. The shark later kills other people on the beach and Ben finds a leg. Ben’s boss tells him to kill the shark, so he and Cat go out to kill it.

They battle the shark on the boat, using shotguns and harpoons, but the boat is swallowed by the shark and Cat and Ben escape on a helicopter. Ben’s boss does not want to close the beaches, and tells him to kill the shark quickly. His friend Chuck has a tiny submarine, so they go out in it searching for the shark, which has started attacking a yacht. The shark knocks several people overboard, including Ben’s boss, who is promptly eaten. Finally Ben launches a torpedo at the shark which is destroyed.

Shark in Venice (2008) Plot

A man named David (played by Stephen Baldwin) and his girlfriend Laura (played by Vanessa Johansson) talk with police in Venice about the disappearance of his father. While riding through the canals, David sees a shark. He swims in the canals in scuba gear but his accompanying scuba diver is killed by a shark.

David escapes into a cave and finds himself in a strange underground temple complex with traps and ancient puzzles. He finds a room filled with treasure. He takes some gold then leaves, and recuperates from his wounds in a hospital.

A strange businessman named Vito (played by Giacomo Gonnella) hears about the treasure and tries to get David to help him retrieve the treasure. However, the businessman is actually part of the mafia, and David has to rescue his girlfriend from them. In a final battle, Vito is killed by a shark and David finds the treasure once again.

Shark Lake (2015) Plot Summary

Set in Lake Tahoe, California, a local cop named Meredith (played by Sara Malakul Lane) is a single mom in a quiet town. However, a mysterious man named Clint is let out from prison on parole (played by Dolph Lundgren) and is known for dealing in exotic animals on the black market. He lets loose something in the waters of Lake Tahoe, and tourists begin being eaten by some mysterious creature.

Meredith and her boyfriend Peter (played by Michael Aaron Milligan) who happens to be a biologist, start to investigate and find that an entire group of vicious creatures is inhabiting Lake Tahoe. A documentary crew arrives but isn’t seriously worried about the dangers, and then is entirely eaten by the creatures.

Clint teams up with Meredith and Peter to find the source of the death, a shark mother protecting her young.

Mega Shark vs. Kolossus Plot

Russia has been searching for a new form of energy, and their research accidentally reawakens a robot doomsday machine from the Cold War hidden in a mine. An American sleeper agent named Moira (played by Amy Rider) sees this, and at the same time one of their scuba teams on the ocean floor awakens a sleeping megalodon.

Dr Alison Gray (played by Illeana Douglas) is a researcher who is tapped by the CEO of DaneTech (played by Brody Hutzler) to help stop the machine, dubbed Kolossus.

The robot and the shark battle in the water, with the military trying to destroy the machines with violence and the CEO of the company trying to do it in a more environmentally friendly manner.

In the end, Dane reveals he is actually in control of both creatures and intends to take over the world. When the US activates spy satellites to take down Kolossus, he uses the robot to throw the shark into space and knock out the satellites, so the satellite fires it’s weapons at the moon instead.

Eventually, Dane loses control and is killed, and the shark and the robot explode underneath the ocean.

Sharkman (2005) Plot

A man named Paul King (played by Anton Argirov) passes away after a battle with cancer. A few years later, his scientist father Dr King (played by Jeffrey Combs) invites his son’s former doctors to an unknown island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean along with his widow, Amelia (played by Hunter Tylo).

Once the doctors and Amelia are gathered there, his father surprises them by saying he never actually died, and he was able to save him by splicing him with hammerhead shark DNA. Paul turned into a man/shark hybrid now named Hammerhead, and is living in a tank. His father lets out the water from the tank, intending for Paul to eat the doctors who could not save him.

However, Hammerhead escapes along with the doctors and begins killing his father’s minions on the island. His father tries to get him to recognize his wife, Amelia, in order to create further shark/human offspring. A man named Tom Reed (played by William Forsythe) arrives at the compound to rescue Amelia and kills Hammerhead by feeding him liquid nitrogen. Tom shoots Dr King and as they escape, the compound explodes.

Shark Zone (2003) Plot

Divers searching for treasure in an underwater shipwreck are attacked by sharks, leaving only Jimmy (played by Dean Cochran) as a survivor. Fast forward ten years and Jimmy is married to Carrie (played by Brandi Sherwood). Since his father was among the divers killed by sharks, he has developed a severe fear of sharks.

A man approaches him and asks for help diving into the same ship to look for the gold, but Jimmy turns him down. The man, Volkoff (played by Velizar Binev) keeps asking him through help as the movie progresses. Jimmy patrols the beach trying to help people avoid getting eaten by sharks, and when a small friend group is killed he gathers some buddies and goes to kill the sharks.

He throws bombs from helicopters and explodes several sharks, and is once again asked for help from Volkoff. He refuses and Volkoff sends a bunch of thugs to kidnap his son. Jimmy reluctantly goes to Volkoff’s ship and shows him where the shipwreck is, but as the thugs dive to find the gold, they’re eaten by sharks. Finally he fights off Volkoff, who is knocked overboard and eaten by sharks, and takes his son and escapes to shore just as the ship explodes.

Great White (1981) Plot Summary

The plot of the film is essentially the same as Jaws. A windsurfer near a small beach town named Port Harbor is killed by a Great White. Both an author and a shark hunter try to warn everyone, but the governor refuses to do anything about it lest the rumor hurt his reelection campaign.

The governor’s aide is eaten, and the governor can not ignore reality any longer. The two men go out to sea in a boat with dynamite, but are trapped in a cave and use the dynamite to get out of it. The author’s daughter, Jenny (played by Micaela Pignatelli) has her leg eaten by the shark.

The governor heads out to sea on a helicopter, dangling a steak on a hook. The shark snatches the hook, throwing the governor into the sea and eating him, then pulling the helicopter under the water.

They finally kill the shark by detonating dynamite, but not before several more people lose their lives.

Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus Plot

A large iceberg splits from the ice in the Arctic, and a frozen megalodon (also known as a mega shark) and a giant prehistoric octopus begin to thaw out and come back to life.

When a military unit nearby uses a low-frequency sonar device, the ice splits open and the monsters begin prowling the Pacific Ocean. The shark begins going up and down the West Coast, causing havoc in California. The octopus starts wreaking havoc on the other side of the ocean in Japan.

Three marine biologists decide to trap both monsters using pheromones. The scientists, Dr. Seiji Shimada (played by Vic Chao), Emma MacNeil (played by Debbie Gibson) and Allan Baxter (played by Lorenzo Lamas) draw the beasts into a trap with pheromones. The monsters destroy a large part of San Francisco before ultimately being destroyed in a battle with a submarine.

Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda (2014) Plot

A marine biologist named Lorena (played by Katie Savoy) finds an egg containing an unborn Sharktopus. An evil CEO of a research company named Symodyne (played by Robert Carradine) releases a hybrid of a barracuda fish and a pterodactyl, and this animal is hacked by a scientist named Vladimir Futon. The fish-bird mutant attacks workers at the lab, and the scientist tries to control the animal to attack further victims.

The military attempts to attack the animal, and the Pteracuda escapes.

In the meantime, the biologist Lorena raises the Sharktopus at a water park. After it attacks someone, the news gets out that a Sharktopus is still alive. The military convinces them to let them use the Sharktopus to kill the Pteracuda, and they release it into the wild. Lorena is locked away, and in the meantime a fight breaks out between the two creatures, killing civilians on the beach (including Conan O’Brien).

Ultimately, attempting to track down the animals, Lorena escapes and attempts to lure in the animals, which they finally kill with a harpoon that overloads a chip inside the Pteracuda’s head and causes it to explode.

Piranhaconda (2012) Movie Plot

A professor named Dr. Lovegrove (played by Michael Madsen) steals the egg of a vicious piranhaconda, a snake/piranha hybrid.

Dr Lovegrove runs into a film crew on location, but criminals kidnap some members of the crew on the road and hold them for ransom.

A piranhaconda attacks the criminals, but the film crew and the professor escape.

The leader of the criminal gang finds a camera left behind by the group. The camera contains footage of the professor stealing the egg, making the piranhaconda angry. The ringleader decides to kill both the monster and the film crew, which are being followed by the giant snake even as they drive away. The snake is wounded, and it’s mate arrives attracted by the scent of the blood.

In the midst of the escape, the film crew is followed by the kidnappers, but the snake attacks and eats them. Two of the film group, Jack (played by Rib Hillis) and Rose (played by Terri Ivens) find that Lovegrove still has the egg, which is why the piranhaconda is following them. Rose throws the egg into the river, but Lovegrove is eaten by the snake. They find a way to throw a bomb at the monster, which explodes the piranhaconda. Jack and Rose kiss, but they are suddenly killed by a new piranhaconda.
