Evil Ed (1995) is a Swedish film directed by Anders Jacobsson (member of the Swedish goth band Draconian) and starring Johan Rudebeck, Per Löfberg (who heralds from the same town as Stig Larsson) and Olof Rhodin.

Before watching Evil Ed you need to sufficiently prepare yourself.

The first thing you’ll need is a red light bulb. Preferably stolen. Or as cheap as you can find.
Not one of those fancy expensive LED lights that come in a pleasing pinkish hue.
That will not make you sufficiently angry. You’ll want blood red.
And harsh.
So harsh it urges you to kill.

After you’ve visually properly prepared your corneas for your viewing experience I would also recommend listening to Korn’s entire discography.

Now, you’ve sufficiently primed the pump.

Evil Ed (1995) Plot

The plot is essentially the violent fever dream an unemployed carnival clown in the throes of a bufotenine trip.

If I haven’t already sold you on Evil Ed then I don’t know what to tell you.

The movie is an essential rip-off of the cult classic from the 1950s, Invasion of the Body Snatchers. The movie stars Andrea Roth, J. Marvin Campbell, Dane Witherspoon, Sam Hennings, David Dunard and Holly Fields.

Seedpeople (1992) Plot Summary

The town of Comet Valley sees alien plant life invade it through a meteorite which has fallen in the area, and the aggressive plants find a way to insert seeds into humans and making them carry seeds around and pollinate the earth. The sheriff of the town bands together with the residents and attempts to fight off the alien plants. The movie is told by geologist Tom Baines (played by Sam Hennings) as a report of what he found in the area while investigating the meteorite.

Plot Summary

When Ben (played by Reb Brown) goes to the funeral of his sister (a former journalist) he meets a girl named Jenny and a man named Stefan (played by Christopher Lee). Stefan informs him that his late sister was actually a werewolf, and gives him a VHS tape proving it.

His sister rises from the grave and Stefan kills her which proves his point. Ben and Jenny go with him to Transylvania to help him kill a werewolf queen who never dies named Stirba (played by Sybil Danning). They battle with her in her castle, situated just outside a folk festival being held, and in the end Stefan sacrifices himself in order to kill Stirba forever. Ben and Jenny, falling in love, return home together.

Sharkman (2005), also known by the name Hammerhead: Shark Frenzy, is a sharksploitation movie created for the SyFy Channel. The movie was directed by Michael Oblowitz and written by Boaz Davidson.

Sharkman (2005) Plot

A man named Paul King (played by Anton Argirov) passes away after a battle with cancer. A few years later, his scientist father Dr King (played by Jeffrey Combs) invites his son’s former doctors to an unknown island somewhere in the Pacific Ocean along with his widow, Amelia (played by Hunter Tylo).

Once the doctors and Amelia are gathered there, his father surprises them by saying he never actually died, and he was able to save him by splicing him with hammerhead shark DNA. Paul turned into a man/shark hybrid now named Hammerhead, and is living in a tank. His father lets out the water from the tank, intending for Paul to eat the doctors who could not save him.

However, Hammerhead escapes along with the doctors and begins killing his father’s minions on the island. His father tries to get him to recognize his wife, Amelia, in order to create further shark/human offspring. A man named Tom Reed (played by William Forsythe) arrives at the compound to rescue Amelia and kills Hammerhead by feeding him liquid nitrogen. Tom shoots Dr King and as they escape, the compound explodes.

A small coastal town is having problems – some unknown locals have been dumping toxic chemicals into the water, causing strange mutations among the residents. A researcher named Dr. Drake (played by Emma Samms) discovers that genetic disorders are developing and a strange creature has started feeding on people.

A lot happens in the movie: prisoners on death row due to be executed are instead injected with a special serum by the government, which turns them into roving monsters in the water. They ingest the toxic waste and the carnage only intensifies. They eat the men but save the women for mating in cocoons, soon producing Alienesque monster children. The townspeople, including Wade Parker (played by Robert Carradine), Sheriff Barnes (played by Kaz Garas) and the deputy (played by Clint Howard) attack the monsters and try to save themselves from destruction.
